Lake Texoma Parks

Beautiful recreational areas surround Lake Texoma.  State Parks and National Parks, Campgrounds, Marinas, Hiking Trails, Biking Trails, and National Wildlife refuges.

Lake Texoma is a Corp of Engineers lake, which means the shoreline is owned and managed by the Federal Government. The shoreline is protected as a natural habitat providing home to a wide variety of wildlife.  Along the path of migrating birds, it is a bird watcher and photographer paradise.

Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge

Includes almost 12,000 acres of habitat managed for birds and wildlife.
Hiking trails, wildlife drive, fishing, wildlife photography, seasonal boating and hunting offered.

Free nature programs held the second Saturday of each month.  Open sunrise to sunset 365 days a year.

SECOND SATURDAY FOR YOUTH

Free nature programs for ages 6 - 12 (ages 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult). Please call in to reserve a spot each month if your child is coming, even if he or she has attended previously. The number to call is 903 786-2826
