Cackle & Oink competes in National Championship

Cackle & Oink owner Aaron Vogel and the Cackle & Oink competition recently competed in and won a competition of more than 50 of the state's best pitmasters in Fort Worth.

Cackle & Oink accumulated enough points to earn a last minute invitation to the National BBQ Cook-off in Meridian, Texas on Oct. 21 -22.

The team took first place in ribs and Chicken and made the finals in brisket.

Cackle & Oink is located at 3210 Texoma Parkway in Sherman.
